This is my very first post on my blog. My journey first began at the age of 12 way back in 2003. I bought my first 500 shares of a stock at $2/share with my grandfather. Within a years time I watched this stock jump to over $9/share. Well after that I was hooked on the stock market. I would check out how the market was doing almost daily throughout high school and often found myself watching CNBC after school. I dabbled here and there in the market with a few hundred bucks but never actually knew what I was doing. I knew that I wanted to do something in the stock market but had no idea how to get involved.
Fast forward to post graduation. Sitting at my insurance job, bored as usual, daydreaming about the stock market, I knew I had to find some way to start trading. After researching for a while I came across Kuanl Desai or @Kunal00 in the twitter world where I learned what technical analysis is. His stats were amazing and I knew I had to learn what he knew. I signed up for the bootcamp he teaches which opened my eyes to an awesome world of trading.
I've been trading live since May of 2014. I've had many of ups and downs. A lot of downs in the beginning and more and more ups as I get more experience. I never thought it was possible to make a couple hundred bucks to even over a thousand bucks on one trade unless you had millions. This is slowly becoming a reality as I have hit a few of these trades and watch my mentors do it everyday.
This is my commitment. My commitment to finish my journey and achieve my goals of being a full-time trader and making a living doing what I am passionate about. I know there is going to be plenty more of ups and downs before I finally get it but nothing is going to stop me from achieving my goals. My mentors have inspired me more than I think they will ever know. I hope to be able to repay them with another success story.
So that's my trading plan. To turn a dream into a reality. I hope to be reading this in the year 2019 being a full-time, successful trader. And maybe even help to turn someone else's dream into a reality someday.
